Sailing Yacht Cruises

First of all, before you read my review, please know that 5 stars are simply not enough for this experience. I would give every star in the galaxy to the cruise we took on July 14th. I want to mention that I started looking for a sailing trip well in advance. At first, I was planning to book with another company (one of your competitors), but by the time I was ready to make the reservation, everything was fully booked. So I was genuinely happy when I found Cretan Sailing Cruises. Interestingly, during our trip we actually met that competitor’s catamaran. Although their boat looked a bit newer (at least to me), but I didn’t regret choosing Cretan Sailing Cruises for even a second. There were three of us my mother, my son, and me. In total, there were 13 guests and 3 crew members on board. The catamaran is so spacious and comfortable that it almost feels as if you’re sailing privately. Every group naturally had its own cozy area, and even when everyone gathered together around the dining table, there was still a wonderful feeling of space and comfort. The catamaran is spotless and has everything you could possibly need: a clean restroom (which the crew even checks and maintains during the trip), a shower, an indoor cabin to relax in, a lounge area at the back of the boat, comfortable seating near the captain, a dining area, and even a large sunbed where my son happily fell asleep on the way back. 😅 There are plenty of comfortable places to sit or lie down, and snorkeling equipment is provided as well. You’re welcomed on board with coffee, juice, and delicious morning treats, which is such a lovely way to start the day. After the first stop, you’re served an absolutely incredible lunch, when everyone gathers around the table together. It is prepared by an amazing young chef. As my mother said, “You can truly taste that she cooks with her heart.” After the second stop, fresh fruit is served. Everything about this experience is genuinely done with love and care. Please don’t think I’m obsessed with food, but somehow being out at sea makes you incredibly hungry… or maybe the lunch really is just that delicious! 😄 But the most important part of this cruise is the crew. They are friendly, funny, easygoing, attentive, communicative, and never intrusive. They create such a relaxed and joyful atmosphere that you immediately feel comfortable. The captain handled the catamaran flawlessly. Throughout the entire trip there wasn’t a single moment that made us feel unsafe. He was calm, professional, and always in a wonderful mood. His first mate was just as impressive - quick, hardworking, attentive, and always ready to help with anything. This trip with Your crew became one of the brightest highlights of our entire vacation. Thank you so much for giving us such wonderful memories. One more thing I’d like to mention. Before booking, I read reviews of other sailing companies where people said the crews actively encouraged guests to leave positive reviews. Not a single member of THIS crew asked us to write one. The only thing I received was an automatic email asking for feedback after the trip. That says a lot. If I ever return to Crete and have to choose a sailing cruise again, there is absolutely no doubt - I will choose Cretan Sailing Cruises. A huge thank you from me, my mother, and my son, Luka. ❤️

Fantastic experience, the food was incredible the hosts were so friendly and had so much information about the coastline. We loved it. Would highly recommend.

​We had an absolute blast on our trip with Cretan Sailing Cruises! The crew took fantastic care of us from start to finish. Reaching Balos Lagoon and Gramvousa Island by boat made the experience so smooth and stress-free compared to driving or taking the massive, crowded ferries. ​The views were stunning, the stops gave us plenty of time to explore and swim, and the whole atmosphere on board was top-notch. If you're looking for an unforgettable day on the water in Crete, I couldn't recommend them enough!

What an experience with Costa and Demitrios (Jimmy) !!! Lively and interactive, very insightful, funny, polite and quick to remedy our thirsts !!! The boat was very clean and spacious. Where we set anchor was simply phenomenal with its turquoise water( . Dia island) and what to say about the lunch, simply a delicious feast was prepared and devoured by all . A real delight, would not hesitate to doing this trip again along with Costa and Demitrios of course. A real 5 star experience !!!
